2022 Ford Bronco Overview
Ford Bronco For Sale Near Flagstaff
There’s a reason why the 2022 Ford Bronco is such a popular model at dealerships like the Flagstaff Ford dealer. It features a classic design and delivers an incredible ride on the road and off. It’s versatile, so it can be configured to meet a variety of needs. Buyers can get the Bronco in two-door and four-door versions, with removable doors and a convertible top. All-wheel drive is standard and there are two powerplants on offer. Available packages and tire choices make the 2022 Bronco even more desirable.
According to the Ford dealer near Flagstaff, for 2022, the Bronco gets a new Everglades trim, which adds even more off-road chops. It features 17-inch wheels, 35-inch tires, a snorkel air intake, and a Warn winch with a 10,000-pound capacity. It gets an exclusive Desert Sand exterior paint color. The Wildtrak trim now has a Hoss 3.0 package, which adds tougher Fox adaptive dampers and upgraded chassis elements. There’s also a new Raptor variant, which we’re not covering in this review.
The 2022 Ford Bronco gets rave reviews from the automotive media. Motor Trend writes: “Our initial impression after driving the new two- and four-door Bronco is that it absolutely lives up to the hype. Driven on-road or off, viewed as a getaway/adventure vehicle, a family truckster, or as a piece of retro automotive art, the Bronco feels like a winner. Indeed, Jeep’s longtime off-road champ, the Wrangler, now has some serious 4x4 SUV competition, as does our 2021 MotorTrend SUV of the Year, Land Rover’s epic Defender.”
Flagstaff Ford Dealer
The 2022 Ford Bronco is available in seven trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak and Everglades. All models can be had with two- or four-doors and can be outfitted with myriad options.
Two engines are on offer. The standard powerplant is a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 275 or 300 horsepower and 315 or 325 lb-ft, depending on the configuration. This block is matched to a standard seven-speed manual transmission or an available 10-speed automatic. An available 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 produces 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque with premium fuel. It’s paired to the 10-speed automatic gearbox.
Standard features for the 2022 Ford Bronco Base trim include 16-inch steel wheels, 30-inch all-season tires, LED headlights, push-button start, a hardtop (two-door variants) or a soft top (four-door variants), cloth upholstery, six-way manually adjustable front seats, power windows, carpeted flooring and floor mats, tow hooks, and a terrain management system with five drive modes. Also standard is a digital instrument panel, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a stereo system with six speakers, satellite radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Advanced safety features that come standard include automatic high beams, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and hill-start assist.
As of this writing, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to test the 2022 Ford Bronco. However, the 2021 Bronco received the highest rating of five stars for overall safety. We expect to see the same rating for the 2022 model year.
