2023 Ford Ranger Trim Levels

The base Ford Ranger XL is a no-frills workhorse, with standard features including 16-inch steel wheels, black steel bumpers, remote keyless entry, manual side mirrors with integrated spotter mirrors, a manually locking tailgate, a cargo light, wiper-activated automatic halogen headlights, an 18-gallon fuel tank, and front tow hooks (included with 4x4 and optional with the FX2 package).

Inside, the XL is all about utility, with power door locks and windows, a manually adjustable eight-way manual driver seat with manual lumbar adjustment, cloth-covered front bucket seats, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, vinyl floor coverings, and single-zone manual air conditioning. Also standard is a 3.5-inch infotainment display, a four-speaker stereo system with AM/FM radio, FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, a USB charge port, and two 12-volt outlets.

Step up to the Ford Ranger XLT, and you’ll get the features of the XL, plus 17-inch alloy wheels, body-color bumpers, fog lights, remote keyless entry with a tailgate lock, power side mirrors, a rear window defroster, and rear privacy glass. Rear-wheel-drive models get all-season tires, while all-terrain tires are standard with all-wheel drive.

The interior features premium cloth seats, dual-zone electronic climate control, carpeting, an overhead console, and a 4.2-inch color instrument cluster display. Also standard is Ford MyKey, cruise control, and an outside temperature display. The infotainment system in the XLT is upgraded to the SYNC 3 system, featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch color touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The Co-Pilot360 driver-assist system is also standard on the XLT.

The Ford Ranger Lariat trim starts with the XLT’s features and adds 18-inch machined alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED fog lights, keyless entry, power-folding heated side mirrors, a manual rear sliding window, and rear parking sensors. The interior features an eight-way power driver’s seat and a six-way power passenger seat with power lumbar, heated front seats, leather-trimmed seats, ambient interior lighting, and a 110-volt outlet.
