2024 Ford Bronco Sport Overview

For 2024, the Bronco Sport introduces the Free Wheeling trim level, inspired by Ford’s ’70s appearance package. It features a silver grille, 17-inch wheels with red accents, and reflective sunset-themed graphics. The interior echoes this theme with unique design elements. According to the Navajo County Ford dealership, the Big Bend models now offer a Black Appearance package with matte-black 17-inch wheels, a blacked-out grille, and matte-black decals. The lineup gets two new color options, Azure Gray and Desert Sand, adding to the vehicle’s visual appeal.

The 2024 Ford Bronco gets high marks from the automotive media. Edmunds writes : “The Sport is a Bronco in name only; underneath the retro bodywork are the same mechanical pieces that make up a Ford Escape. But the Bronco Sport is more than just an Escape playing dress-up. Available exclusively with all-wheel drive, it also boasts some genuine off-road tech and capability, making it one of the most capable compact SUVs when the pavement ends.”

The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is available in five trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, Outer Banks, and Badlands. The Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks models are equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine producing 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. The Badlands is powered by a more robust turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, generating 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. All trims are teamed to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and get standard all-wheel drive.
