The F-250 XL trim is powered by a standard 6.8-liter V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. The XLT is equipped with a 7.3-liter gasoline V8 that puts out 430 hp and 485 lb-ft. This unit is available on the XL. All models have two optional turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel V8s, with the base diesel generating 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft. This engine is standard on the Limited trim. A high-output version of this powerplant generates 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft. A 10-speed automatic is the sole transmission. Four-wheel drive is available on the XL and standard on the other trims.

The seating in the 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty varies by cab style, accommodating three to six people.
